Arise offers highly personalized, boutique educational consulting plans that can start early in Grades 9 or 10, or in Grades 11 and 12 when the college journey picks up pace and intensity. Arise offers both comprehensive plans and individual services.
We hold regular videoconference meetings with students and parents, and additionally stay in touch through email, phone, and a research portal and Drive.
This comprehensive and highly personalized plan for students in Grades 11 and 12 supports all aspects of the college search and application process for up to twelve (12) applications, including student assessments, extracurricular and summer planning, standardized-test planning, college research and list-building, support requesting letters of recommendation, resumé development, interview preparation, essay coaching, parent curriculum, and application guidance. This work typically requires about thirty (30) hours of value-added guidance. Additional hours can be arranged to support up to twenty (20) applications.
For students in Grades 9 and 10, we support planning and preparation for high-school academics, summer and extracurricular activities, and standardized testing. Focus early on the things that actually matter and worry less!
We coach students on their college essays, PIQs, or supplemental essays from topic brainstorming, content development and structure, through to final polish stages.
We strategize and guide students and families to submit strong applications and meet deadlines.
We help students over the summer before college and in their first year with choosing courses and majors, understanding academic expectations and time management, developing healthy living habits, finding mentors, internships, and career-development opportunities, and other topics.
We help students who are considering transferring to a different college strategize options and pathways and implement an effective transfer plan.
